The Industrial Automation Grounding, Harmonics & Transient Overvoltage Protection course covers key power quality issues that can adversely affect the operation of programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives and other sensitive electronic equipment integral to process control in all automated manufacturing environments. Through effective single point grounding, control of harmonic currents and proper transient overvoltage protection, attendees will learn to better assure a minimum amount of equipment downtime. Designed for those with a working knowledge of AC power distributions, this one-day course emphasizes solutions to many common problems.
Each student will receive a text-specific manual including detailed charts and graphs for future reference.
