Site Inspection Training (SIT)

Course Summary

Pat power and grounding audits conducted by RO Associates have revealed numerous violations of the National Electrical Code. OSHA, IMSHA, and equipment manufactures' installation specifications. The presence of harmonic currents, load unbalance, loose wiring connections, improper ground and improperly isolated ground, are common problems. These problems and code violations have a detrimental effect on the proper operation of computers and the microprocessor based electronics found in telephone, process are common to many sites we have surveyed and, as our experience is extensive, occur frequently.
